By joining the ladies of the Snow Girls Team organizing a training camp in La Pesse, I had set myself three objectives:

Bring snow because there was none.
Participate in  a meeting with the mayor regarding our wish to maintain the organization of this SGT event on the site.
The enthusiasm or not of the population on the subject.

When I arrived at dawn on Thursday, I had brought enough snow to see the whole site covered with a beautiful white coat thus ensuring, for three days, the optimal use of the slopes:

First objective achieved!

With the entire SGT Board of Directors supported by Patrick Fauquembergue (Pessois de coeur), Françoise and I, both representing the FBMF, met a mayor who was delighted and super excited at the idea of keeping the race on his territory. I was particularly moved for the SGT to see the atmosphere of friendship and trust that prevailed throughout the meeting. The race will therefore go well in March 2021:
Second objective achieved !!

About the enthusiasm of the population as well as all the French Musher present,  the announcement of the continuation of the event stirred a gigantic tidal wave of joy and  recognition vis-à-vis the SGT who amply deserved it after all his efforts to turn the club around. Well done ladies, you have deserved it:
Third objective achieved !!!

It is therefore a happy and proud President to have the Snow Girls Team within the FBMF who returned to Belgium on Sunday afternoon, saying to himself that with La Pampa vzw and the SHT, the FBMF could not. than to carry even higher the nobility of our sport.
